William Blesch co-Founded From the Flames Productions (“FTFP”), a full service film and video production company as well as Phoenix Rising Magazine which eventually became Independents Rising Magazine (“IRM”), one of the fastest growing online magazines in the United States which focuses on the independent film community. (“IRM” is The Official Publication of From the Flames Productions.) Until January 2007, he was a producer and director with FTFP. In late 2006 he joined a filmmaking co-operative in Austin, Tx created by Robin Blesch, called The Wolfpack Film Group.

Due to creative differences and legal disputes with a former partner, William left FTFP and is now a full time producer with WPFG Studios.

Since the founding of From the Flames Productions and Independent Rising Magazine, William's first ambitious project "The Blade of the King: Concept Film" which he directed in the summer of 2005, won the 2006 2nd place award for Best Film Trailer/TV Pilot at The Indie Gathering Film Festival in Cleveland, Ohio. It was also nominated for Best Action Sequence at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Long Beach, California.

At this time, William has several different projects in development.

Most recently, William was the Associate Producer on the independent feature film, "Anything for Now."

Just prior to coming aboard this project he directed a series of 32 Match.com ads and co-produced 16 of those ads under contract to Robert Zimmer and Deeper Magic Communications.
